Time to Reveal our Pinterest UnTutorial for May!
We are going to be making some card holders for lots of summer card games! One reader notified me that there are some sewing tutorials out there for this item, but none of them are in English. Even though you could possibly figure out how to make it from the pictures alone, I plan to go ahead with an English language sewing tutorial anyway.
Since I need to make 4 (I have 4 kids), I’ll experiment with a few different materials for making it stiff enough to stand up. I think I’ll use velcro for making securing it in a triangle shape. That way you can separate the velcro and lay it flat on your board game shelf for storage. 🙂
Do you have any ideas or suggestions for this project? For example, do you think the card slots should be long, or fit one card each? Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
And thanks for making this Pinterest UnTutorials series so much fun!
This month’s theme – sewing for kids, made me so excited that I could hardly wait to see which UnTutorials project won. Well, here it is…
