Hexagon Knitting Pattern

The Hexagon Knitting Pattern: I created this pattern for a traveling blanket I’m making using mini skeins I pick up at local yarn shops in the towns I visit (the ones pictured are from Washington D.C.). If you are looking for a stash of skeins to get started with I recommend Craftsy’s Mini-Skein Pack for this project.

For this pattern, I wanted to create off of the idea of quilt squares, but without the usual look. With Hexagons, all edges match other hexagons, like squares, and they add a visual interest to your pattern.
