Since I noticed during the last cuff knitting that I was

I haven’t written any real instructions here yet, I want to do it today.

Wool: sock wool, around 100 grams is easily enough

Sock yarn, around 100 grams is enough easily from needles: 2.5 double pointed needles

2.5 double pointed needles size: women

Ladies cast on: 56 stitches / 14 per needle

56 stitches / 14 per needle cuffs: 20 rounds (K / P)

20 rounds (right / left) arm: 30 rounds Needles 1 and 4: back of hand / top of arm – desired pattern Needles 2 and 3: palm / bottom of arm – continue cuff pattern, the last 5 rounds in stocking stitch

30 rounds needle 1 and 4: back of hand / top of arm – desired pattern Increase thumb: 30 rounds every 3rd round increase: right hand – needle 2 / left hand – needle 3:

Round 3: row 7, increase 1 st (from cross thread), row 7 (15 stitches)

Round 6: K 7, increase 1 stitch, K 1, increase 1 stitch, K 7 (17 stitches)

Round 9: k 7, increase 1 stitch, k 3, increase 1 stitch, k 7 (19 stitches)

Round 12: K 7, increase 1 stitch, K 5, increase 1 stitch, K 7 (21 stitches)

Round 15: K 7, increase 1 stitch, K 7, increase 1 stitch, K 7 (23 stitches)

Round 18: K 7, increase 1 stitch, K 9, increase 1 stitch, K 7 (25 stitches)

Round 21: k 7, increase 1 stitch, k 11, increase 1 stitch, k 7 (27 stitches)

Round 24: K 7, increase 1 stitch, K 13, increase 1 stitch, K 7 (29 stitches)

Round 27: k 7, increase 1 stitch, k 15, increase 1 stitch, k 7 (31 stitches)

Round 30: 7th, 17 stitches on the safety pin, pick up 4 chain stitches, 7th hand: 20 rounds Needles 1 and 4: Back of hand – desired pattern Needles 2 and 3: Palm – stocking stitch Finishing cuffs: 20 rounds K / P, then bind off Thumb: Pick up the 17 stitches on the safety pin on two or 3 knitting needles, add 4 stitches from the “edge of the thumb” (at this point I always add a few stitches and knit them together: o) For an “open” thumb : Knit 14 rounds, then bind off

For a “closed” thumb: increase the number of rounds, then knit 2 stitches together until there are only a few stitches left, pull the thread through, sew

30 rounds

These gauntlets, which were only recently finished, were also made according to these instructions.

The pattern of these gauntlets is the same as that of the gray mouse (cable pattern combined with the “Jeck” pattern (by Ravelry).

And so I’m now back with RUMS. :O)
